Our history
Memories, impressions, emotions. A history, that of the Cadorin family, which is rich in a profound passion for wine and the magical land from which everything springs. Here two brothers, Evio and Angelo, with their wives, Laura and Vilma, together gave life to a dream among the intense aroma of Bosco Bando in Carlino and fresh delicate essences of the hills of Terra Rossa in Caneva.
Our historyLet’s start from the beginning: how did Le Favole begin?
EVIO – I believe that Le Favole are, in some way, a necessary step in our family history. My grandfather had some land. I remember a vineyard and 5 cows and a hut on the plateau. Then, in the 60’s my father repaired televisions in Sacile. He had abandoned agriculture because in those days maintaining a family was nearly impossible only with farm work. Later he went on to work for Enel, but he had never really abandoned his passion for the land. I remember he would spend Saturdays and Sundays working on that bit of land that he owned and often my brother Angelo and I would help him. It was hard going. The work we did was quite basic, but it was probably those hours, those days spent in contact with nature, which marked us. As if unconsciously during those innocent years we made ??a promise to that land.

Carefully selected vineyards with low yields per hectare give life to a collection of absolute quality, born from the patience of those who show great dedication to wine, without haste, as if it were a daily, sacred ritual in pursuit of excellence.
The wines of the Le Favole estate, in fact, preserve the essence of Friuli Venezia Giulia, all these unique and typical scents of an exclusive area where the particular climate, karst rock on one side and proximity to the sea on the other, create a magical meeting of sensations to savour, deep emotions to surrender to.
A good 60 hectares, between the sea and the rolling hills close to the forest of Cansiglio, offer rare, precious wines to Cadorin, thanks to 20 hectares for vine cultivations and the rest for olive trees, with patches of grain cultivation and forests of acacias, oak, chestnut, hornbeam and hazel.

Our values
Emotions laden with memories and impressions evoked by the place of origin of the two Cadorin families, deeply linked to Caneva, the place where they live and work with great dedication. Here, contact with nature and with the vineyards is a natural daily occurrence and the plants are treated with extreme care throughout the year.
During the harvest, many people are needed because it’s done by hand and when processing the valuable raw material, every action is repeated meticulously, combining tradition with new technologies in pursuit of the highest quality.
